fun and enjoyable watch the birds eat them
To be fair to the British, could well be that the bagels are not widely known outside London, where they have become almost a staple in the United States.
The first use of the bagel as a bird feeder, it is difficult to trace. It may be quite recent. The descriptions make every effort to follow a standardized approach. It begins with a bagel flawed. The bagel is covered thick with grease or something is too sticky, peanut butter, honey or lard. The bagel is then pressed into a plate of bird seed so that the seed is pushed into the butter or honey or another. Power must be thick coated seed bagel. A string is passed through the hole in the donut and completed the bird-feeding is hanging from a tree.
Bagels have been around in Europe at least since the 16th century. Originally from Poland, have become common in a country with a large Jewish population. There is an area of east London,
Yet despite all this history of Europe, no European seems to have had the idea to use stale bagel feeders. The British are just as willing to feed their birds like the Americans, British cities are full of old ladies to put food for birds, but the idea is wonderfully simple, brilliant, intelligent and economical bird feeder is exclusively American Bagel.
There are variations on this point. Some people do not use large seeds such as sunflower, as it fell. Some people recommend putting the finished bagel in the freezer for some time to harden the surface. A number of instructions tell you to cut the bagel in half. What is surprising is what it seems obvious once you read about it. Why do not we all think of that? The bagel is clearly intended to be hung. One family sent a beautiful picture out of a Christmas tree, frosted and decorated with lights and with the bagel bird feeders hanging from each branch.
It’s something you do with your children, or classes of elementary school, or your Scout group. Children can have fun making fun and watch the birds feed on them. I think the old ladies who feed the birds in London would also like to have them if she knew him.
